4.3. 最高限度: 28 psi

MRI-compatible valves

Our client is actively seeking customers to test prototype concepts for MRI-compatible valves that can be used in a variety of medical devices in close proximity to or within the MRI cavity. Our client has already created design concepts for valves that can be used in MRI-compatible ventilators. These valves are unaffected by strong magnetic fields and in turn do not create any magnetic fields of their own.
The valves are designed to be compatible with a wide variety of medical fluids and gasses. Further, the valves can be designed to handle a wide variety of operating characteristics while minimizing the total footprint that they occupy. Our client is seeking to establish partnerships with early adopters of new technology to test and validate design concepts for MRI compatible valves and ultimately take products to market.

Each MRI compatible ventilator is expected to have three inlet valves and one bleed valve. High level target specifications for the MRI compatible valve are as follows:
1. Fluid Compatibility: O2, Air and N2O
2. Flow Requirements:
2.1. Inlet valves: 12 LPM
2.2. Bleed valve: 12 LPM
3. Operating Frequency:
3.1. Inlet Valves: 10 Hz
3.2. Bleed Valve: 1 Hz
4. Operating Pressure:
4.1. Minimum: 20 psi
4.2. Operating: 24 psi
4.3. Maximum: 28 psi
4.4. Leak Rate: <=2millilitres per minute at 24psi +/-4psi
